I'm Shawn Laughlin, founder of Caskata, and I'm really passionate about the art of creating a home. To me, the table and the act of gathering around it, offers the perfect creative canvas to express our love for food, drinks, and each other.
Our collections bring timeless craftsmanship to your table. Our small team of women are perfectionists, working hard to ensure that our sought-after, small-batch and often handmade goods are made to withstand the tests of time and provide the perfect backdrop for special occasions, spontaneous gatherings, and elaborate feasts.
We cater to people like you who appreciate the artistry and attention to detail that goes into each piece- the true tastemakers and trendsetters -chefs, home cooks, and serial entertainers, or those who aspire to be. You won't find our products in big box stores, and you probably won't see them on your friends' tables- until they see them on yours.
Your table should reflect the intention and care that goes into the food you serve and the company you're keeping. It's why we offer uniquely designed dinnerware in high-fired porcelain, as well as beautiful glassware that's lead-free, mouth-blown or hand decorated. We make linens you can dress up or use every day and have curated flatware that sits like jewelry. A million little touches that help us create moments to savor, and countless memories filled with delicious recipes, and lots of laughter.
